O2 adds Disney+ to Spanish fibre and mobile bundles
Telefónica’s O2 has added Disney+ to four new Spanish fibre, mobile and television plans, with prices starting at €45 per month.

Telefónica’s Spanish consumer brand O2 has added Disney+ to a new set of fibre, mobile and television bundles. Announced on July 8, the offer combines home broadband, a mobile data allowance and access to streaming services, giving customers a single package for connectivity and entertainment.
The announcement is notable because Disney+ joins an existing O2 television proposition led by Movistar Plus+ and supported by Netflix. Rather than launching a separate mobile application or changing the way Disney+ works, O2 is adding access to the service inside four new plans. The operator says the content can be used across multiple devices, while the exact service experience remains tied to the individual platforms and their own applications.
Four plans, two broadband tiers
O2’s new line-up is divided between 600 Mbps and 1 Gbps fibre connections. The entry plan costs €45 per month and includes 600 Mbps fibre, a mobile line with 60 GB of data, Movistar Plus+ and Disney+ Standard with Ads.
A second option costs €56 per month. It raises the fibre connection to 1 Gbps and the mobile allowance to 375 GB, while retaining access to Movistar Plus+ and Disney+ Standard with Ads.
Customers who also want Netflix can choose the €52 plan. It combines 600 Mbps fibre with 60 GB of mobile data, Movistar Plus+, Netflix and Disney+. The final option costs €62 per month and includes the 1 Gbps connection, 375 GB of mobile data and all three entertainment services: Movistar Plus+, Netflix and Disney+.

All four plans include Disney+ Standard with Ads, so the cheaper bundle should not be read as access to an ad-free Disney+ tier. That distinction matters for households comparing the value of a bundled subscription with a standalone streaming plan. O2’s announcement does not present the offer as a temporary promotional price, but customers should still check the current terms before signing up because operators can update plan conditions over time.
What changes for mobile customers?
For smartphone users, the main change is the relationship between the mobile line and the entertainment bundle. The 60 GB plans target customers who want a moderate allowance for everyday browsing, messaging, social media and occasional video streaming. The 375 GB plans are positioned for heavier use, including customers who regularly watch video away from home or use their mobile connection as a backup for other devices.
The fibre speed is just as important as the mobile allowance. A 600 Mbps connection is already designed for several simultaneous household activities, while the 1 Gbps options provide more capacity for larger homes, multiple viewers and demanding downloads. In both cases, the Disney+ subscription is part of the wider connectivity package rather than an isolated add-on.
O2 also highlighted a recent expansion of O2 Cloud in the same announcement. The service’s free storage allowance increased from 1 TB to 10 TB, and O2 extended access to customers with a mobile plan. The operator says the storage can be used for photos, videos and documents at no additional cost. That makes the announcement broader than a streaming partnership: O2 is presenting connectivity, entertainment and cloud storage as parts of one digital-service portfolio.
Availability and the details to check
The four plans were introduced for O2 customers in Spain on July 8, 2026. Disney+ availability is therefore linked to the Spanish O2 offer described by Telefónica, rather than being a general launch across all Telefónica markets. The company also notes that the service portfolio is designed to provide access to content across multiple devices, which includes the everyday combination of televisions, computers, tablets and smartphones.
Before choosing a plan, customers should compare the mobile allowance with their real usage and confirm whether the included Disney+ account is activated through O2 or requires a separate sign-in process. It is also worth checking the exact terms for Movistar Plus+, Netflix and Disney+, including the advertising-supported Disney+ tier, renewal conditions and any restrictions attached to the fibre or mobile contract.
The broader significance of the announcement is strategic. Telecom operators are increasingly competing on the services attached to a connection, not only on download speeds or data allowances. By combining fibre, mobile data, television and cloud storage, O2 is trying to make its subscription more useful across the household’s full digital routine. For customers, the practical question is whether the bundled services match their existing subscriptions closely enough to justify moving them into one monthly bill.
