Samsung’s latest foldable phones and smartwatches are now available in Singapore. In its Singapore Newsroom announcement, the company confirmed that sales of the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 began on 14 August 2026.

The announcement is significant because it moves Samsung’s 2026 mobile lineup from pre-order campaigns into regular retail availability in one of its important Southeast Asian markets. It also provides a clear view of local pricing, storage configurations and sales channels, while showing how Samsung is pairing its foldable phones with a broader wearable range.

Three foldables, with prices varying by storage

The Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is the most expensive model in the Singapore lineup. Samsung lists it at S$2,798 for 12GB of memory with 256GB of storage, S$3,098 for 12GB with 512GB, and S$3,698 for 16GB with 1TB. The Galaxy Z Fold8 starts at S$2,498 for 12GB and 256GB, rises to S$2,798 for 12GB and 512GB, and reaches S$3,398 for the 16GB and 1TB configuration.

The Galaxy Z Flip8 is positioned at a lower price point. Its 12GB and 256GB configuration is listed at S$1,678, while the 12GB and 512GB version costs S$1,978. Samsung states that these recommended retail prices include Singapore’s goods and services tax.

For buyers, the practical distinction between the models is therefore not only form factor but also storage choice. The Fold8 Ultra and Fold8 are offered with three storage tiers, while the Flip8 is limited to two. Colour availability also varies by model, with selected online-exclusive colours listed for Samsung’s own stores.

Availability covers operators and major retailers

Samsung says the three foldables can be purchased through local mobile operators including M1, Singtel and StarHub, as well as the Samsung Online Store, Samsung Shop App and Samsung Experience Stores. The company also lists official stores on Lazada, Shopee, KrisShop and TikTok, alongside major consumer electronics and IT retailers.

Pre-orders opened on 22 July at 9 p.m. Singapore time. Customers who placed eligible pre-orders were offered early collection or delivery from 10 August, ahead of general availability. That schedule means the local launch has now moved beyond early access and into standard retail distribution.

The regional nature of the announcement is important. The prices and purchase channels apply to Singapore and should not be treated as a guide to pricing in other markets. Samsung’s local availability notices can differ substantially between countries because of taxes, operator agreements, storage configurations and colour availability.

Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Watch9 join the phone launch

Samsung is releasing the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 and Galaxy Watch9 through the same Singapore retail network. The Galaxy Watch Ultra2 is listed at S$988 in its 47mm LTE configuration. The 44mm Galaxy Watch9 costs S$668 with LTE or S$568 with Bluetooth connectivity. The 40mm Galaxy Watch9 is listed at S$618 for LTE and S$518 for Bluetooth.

The watch launch gives customers a choice between Samsung’s larger Ultra model and two Galaxy Watch9 sizes, with cellular connectivity available on selected versions. The availability information does not change the product specifications themselves; it confirms how the devices are being sold locally and which configurations are offered.

A separate upgrade programme adds another purchase route

Samsung is also offering a New Galaxy Club programme for eligible Galaxy Z Series purchases. The Singapore announcement lists the programme at S$339 and says it includes a guaranteed trade-in value of 50 per cent of the device’s original recommended retail price, up to S$1,849, when the customer upgrades to an eligible next-generation Galaxy foldable during its pre-order period.

The programme also includes two years of Samsung Care+ coverage, subject to the stated terms and conditions. Customers can enrol when purchasing an eligible device, while Samsung notes that the guarantee depends on the device meeting its applicable trade-in requirements. This makes the programme more relevant to regular upgrade customers than to people who intend to keep the phone for several generations.

What this launch means for Singapore buyers

Samsung’s announcement gives Singapore customers a complete local purchasing picture: three foldable phones, two smartwatch families, operator support, online retail options and published storage-specific pricing. It also confirms that the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Z Fold8 and Z Flip8 are no longer limited to the pre-order window in this market.

There is no need to infer a wider regional rollout from the Singapore notice. Availability, pricing and promotions remain market-specific, so buyers elsewhere should consult their country’s Samsung newsroom or official store. For Singapore customers, however, the key change is straightforward: Samsung’s newest foldables and connected watches have entered general availability, with sales channels now extending beyond the initial pre-order programme.
